Das Cover zur ersten Ausgabe der neuen Fantastic Four Serie ist veröffentlicht worden

Hmmmmmmmmm. Esad Ribić ist einer der besten Leute die Marvel haben….aber das Cover ist nicht unbedingt das was ich mit den FF assoziiere. Ja, die werden auch schon mal handgreiflich, aber nicht als erstes.
Naja.
Sonst lockt man die coolen Kinder nicht zum Produkt….

Da schickt einem der Comichändler seines Vertrauens eine e-Mail.

„Hallo Hopkins! Du hast sicher Interesse an diesem alternativen Cover zu Mister Miracle #7?“

Auch wenn im Kontext der Geschichte die Existenz des Kindes nicht ganz klar ist; visuell dargestellt durch die „Bildstörungen“, da schießt mir schon das Lulu in die Augen.

I’m not against the idea of cover/tribiute bands/artists. Sometimes one discovers the original/finds a new facet through their interpretation; but sometimes ones asks himself why the artists didn’t do their own thing because there is clearly enough talent and ideas there, which end up as small vignettes peppered on top of the generally renowned work they are interpreting.
Were they already burned and are contempt in steering a bit off the known path?

Sometimes cover/tribiute bands/artist freak me
out because they have that one component that evokes the feeling of the original, but the rest is off and it’s like witnessing the original through a fewer dream filter.
