It was frightening to see what tired surgeons leave behind in the bodies of their patients.
At least they said sorry, it was the hospital administration who were rather unpleasant about it; apart from the unpleasantness caused by the foreign objects.

Came home from work at a quarter past one in the morning.
Took the day off.

My dad’s doctor was able to replicate his cardiologic event. On one hand it’s good that the focus can be narrowed, on the other it’s not good to hear that someone close to you lost consciousness.

My Wife shared a story about one of her teachers at university. He has been practicing meditation and autogenic training for years, and at this point in his life is actively able to controll pain. He had two colonoscopies without an anesthetic.
I said i’ll try without when i had mine, and as soon as they pressed air in i was glad i already had an iv drip in my arm.
