Taking a shower used to be a briskly performed task until a year ago. From one day to the other it became a time to let pass the thoughts and events of the day. And sometimes that takes an amount of time i am ashamed of spending in the shower; probably because of societal “norms” that have established themselves for the male population.
In particular when it doesn’t work and i leave the bathroom with a larger cornucopia of thoughts than before.
