In my job we often joke about certain light designers and their design quirks.
But then you watch the show and while you can spot the elements we laughed about, we have to admit that they work beautifully with a little tweak to fit the current performance.
Also, i should get a thinner skin towards the shows i’m working on/at. Those people are living legends for some, and their work might have helped them in some way.
On the flipside, we’re all human, and even the ones on the stage are flawed.
